Hisuian Decidueye of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is now obtainable from a 7-Star Tera Raid Event. It will appear as a Tera Grass-type Pokémon but still has access to its powerful Fighting-type moves. Tackling the Tera Raid Battle is the first step in order to catch it and if you are struggling to beat it, consider move type-effectiveness and Pokémon's physical stats. The first round of this Tera Raid Event is held from October 6th, 2023 to October 8th, 2023 while the second round is the weekend after on October 13, 2023, to October 15, 2023.

Unlike its original Alolan starter counterpart, Hisuian Decidueye must be evolved from a Dartrix in the Hisui Region in Pokémon Legends Arceus. However, with this Tera Raid Event, Hisuian Decidueye can be caught without the requirement of having it evolve in another region which makes it not a Transfer-only Pokémon anymore. This event can be accessed by connecting the console to the internet and finishing the game past the Ace Academy Tournament. Look at the map for a black sparkling Grass- Tera Type symbol and use Koraidon or Miraidon to locate the crystal.

Hisuian Decidueye's Stats

Hisuian Decidueye is the final evolution of Rowlet in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

All players participating in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raid Event will face a perfect IV stat Hisuian Decidueye. This means that it will be very hard to battle against with higher stat values, especially in physical Attack.

Keeping that in mind, bring a Pokémon with high physical Defense to counter a hard-hitting move. Additionally, it will be given its Hidden Ability, Scrappy, which allows it to hit Ghost-type Pokémon with Fighting-type moves.

There are many sets of Raid-ready Pokémon to take on the Scarlet and Violet Hisuian Decidueye Raids, but some are more efficient than others. Due to its Grass- Tera Typing with Grass- and Fighting-type moves that follow, many of these Pokémon will need to resist these moves for survivability.
